How to play

1. Choose a piece from the stock and tap a square. Tap one of your pieces to move it.
2. Read the residents’ wishes. A resident may want a certain terrain next to it, such as trees, a meadow, water or a path, or may want something kept away (🚫).
3. When every resident’s wish is fulfilled, the area is finished and joins your map.

Rules

• Next to means the square above, below or to the side. A square that touches only at a corner is not next to it.
• Neighboring squares of the same terrain form one area. Pieces that touch only at a corner stay separate areas.
• The same area can fulfill the wishes of several residents.
• Rocks, animal squares and fixed pieces do not move. Fixed pieces are part of the areas.
• You cannot place a piece above, below or beside mosquitoes or horseflies. Diagonally next to them there is room.

If you get stuck, open a hint. Hints go one step at a time, and finally you can look at an example solution. Yours can be different, as long as the wishes are fulfilled.

Worlds

🌳 Park

The first world: trees, flower meadows, ponds and paths. The residents are the frog, water bird, butterfly, squirrel, forest bird, hedgehog, bee, beaver and deer. The park has 30 areas in three parts, and the puzzles get harder little by little. In later areas, mosquitoes limit where you can place pieces.

🌾 Countryside

Fields, pastures, groves and ditches. The residents are the cow, sheep, chicken, hare and owl, and horseflies buzz over the meadow. The countryside opens once the first part of the park is finished.

On the map, your world follows your device’s clock: morning, day, evening and night come and go, and the seasons bring spring flowers, summer green, autumn colors and winter snow. Finished areas grow over time.

Femma coins and the shop

Solving an area for the first time earns femma coins. With coins you can buy decorations in the shop, such as benches, lanterns, a fountain or a windmill, and place them on the map. The shop also has extra solves for when the day’s new areas are done.

Frequently asked questions

Does Femma World cost anything?

No. Femma World is free to play in the browser. There are no ads, and at the moment you cannot pay with real money in the game.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. The game opens directly in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and your progress is saved in the browser on your device.

How do I move my park to another device?

Download a backup in the settings and open it on the other device with Import backup. It is also a good idea to make a backup before clearing your browser data.

How many areas can I solve per day?

You can solve five new areas per day. Extra solves can be bought in the shop with femma coins. You can view and decorate your world at any time.

How do I get femma coins?

Solving an area for the first time gives 10–50 coins depending on difficulty and speed. In addition, the stash on the map fills up by one coin a minute until it holds 30 coins.

What if I cannot find a solution?

Open a hint. Hints go one step at a time, and finally you can look at an example solution. You still place the pieces yourself.

Which languages can I play in?

English and Finnish. You can change the language with the globe on the start screen. More languages are coming.

Does the game collect data about me?

The game does not collect identifiable data about you. There are no cookies or ads. Anonymous usage statistics about the game are compiled without cookies. See the privacy policy for details.
